selectively allocating processing resources available to perform the one or more image processing operations, where such allocation of processing resources is effected based on dynamic tag data associated with pixels being processed by the image processing method.

repeatedly performing an image processing operation on a pixel or pixels of digital video data by selecting and applying one of a plurality of implementations of the image processing operation; and
